Theft/Arson Bedford NS

Crime Stoppers and Halifax Regional Police are asking for the public’s help in solving a vehicle theft & arson, which happened in Halifax County, NS.

 A 2008, Mazda 3 was stolen from a residence in Bedford and then set on fire on the side of nearby Rocky Lake Drive.  Vehicle had over $1500 worth of sporting equipment inside which was presume destroyed in the fire. Car was reported to police as being on fire on July 4th, 2016 at approximately 04:40 am and would have been stolen sometime earlier that night. The owners were unaware the car was stolen until they were contacted by police.
