Crime Stoppers and Lunenburg District RCMP are looking for information surrounding the theft of a large shed from a residence on Canaan Road in Chester that occurred mid to late 2014.
A preliminary investigation has determined that the fully assembled shed was taken from the residence during the day and trucked from the area by a group of individuals. It is possible that the individuals who transported the shed were not aware that the shed was stolen or sold to them under false pretences.
Anyone with information about the above is asked to please contact the Lunenburg County District RCMP at 902-527-5555 (Cookville), 902-634-8467 (Lilydale) or 902-275-3583 (Chester). Callers who wish to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477). Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on the tip, callers qualify for a cash award between $50.00 and $2000.00.
