Cumberland County NS Crimes

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving the following crimes which happen in Cumberland County NS

  1. FILE 20151295483 – East Amherst, NS
  • On October 3rd 2015 during the overnight hours thieves broke into a vehicle on Highway 6 in East Amherst. The culprits stole a small red tool box, bolt cutters, hand tools along with lock picking equipment.
  1. 20151537253 – Brookdale, NS.
  • Over the evening hours of November 27th between 11 pm and 11:30 AM on the 28th, a Garmin GPS was stolen from an unlocked Chevrolet Tahoe.
  1. 20151537440 – Brookdale, NS.
  • RCMP received a call that two vehicles were left unlocked and someone went through them over night stealing loose change. Time frame was 1 am to 11 am.
  1. 20151537058 – Brookdale, NS
  • RCMP received a call that sometime over night someone went through another car and stole some loose change. A second vehicle was parked in the driveway, open, with keys inside. The vehicle was moved back a few feet. Time frame was 11 pm to 7 am.
  1. 20151459568 – Little Forks, NS.
  • Amherst RCMP were called and advised that the ATV Club House on Highway 2 in Little Forks was broken into. Two 20lb propane tanks were stolen. The tanks had the letters C.C.R. stamped on them.  Doors to the club were damaged. Evidence was gathered at the scene.
