Attempted Armed Robbery

On October 30th, 2014 at approximately 11:22 pm, a male suspect, described as approximately 5’6″ tall and 180 lbs and wearing dark clothing and a Batman mask, attempted to rob a G4S Armoured truck in the parking lot of the Royal Bank located at 790 Sackville Dr. The suspect waited for the truck to park and the driver to get out before he ran around and confronted the custodian. The suspect was carrying a silver handgun and demanded the money from the truck. The driver of the vehicle drew his firearm and the suspect fled across Sackville Dr to a vehicle in the Superstore parking lot. The vehicle, described as a dark coloured mini van, fled towards Old Beaverbank Rd.
