Shoplifting – Antigonish, NS

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in identifying the person in this photo who was responsible for a shoplifting case being investigated by Antigonish RCMP.

On April 13th, 2009 at approximately 15:44, an unidentified male entered the Atlantic Superstore in Antigonish where he picked up a pre-paid cell phone card and a bottle of Giorgio Armani Cologne. The male is captured on video concealing the cologne in his pocket before proceeding through a checkout with the pre-paid cell phone card and failing to pay for the cologne.

The suspect is described as being a white, bald, in his mid 40s and approximately 6’2″in height. He was wearing blue jeans, a black jacket, glasses, and white running shoes.

Unsolved Crimes – Sheet Harbour

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving the following crimes being investigated by the Sheet Harbour RCMP

1. A two-storey cottage situated on Moosehead Lake in Moosehead, NS was found burnt down. The suspected timeframe for the fire is between February 14th/2009 and February 19th/2009. The location of the cottage is isolated and can only be accessed by ATV or snowmobile. The cottage and all of its contents were completely destroyed resulting in thousands of dollars worth of damage. Based on the circumstances, this incident is believed to be an arson.

2. An older-style outbuilding on a family homestead was found to be the target of break/enter and theft. The property is situated 0.5 kms into the woods from Shiers Road in Harrigan Cove, NS. The suspected timeframe for the offence is between February 7th/2009 and February 21st/2009. Forced entry was used and large tire tracks from an ATV at the scene are believed to have been made by the suspect(s).

The following items were stolen:
– 14 foot Sun Chief fibre glass canoe, brown in colour, chunk of foam missing from exterior of frame, a 1984 Honda 200 3-wheeler, red in colour, 1971 Ski-Rule 200cc snowmobile, green in colour.

3. A cabin situated on John Lowes Stillwater off of Moser River North Road in Moser River, NS was found burnt down. The suspected timeframe for the fire is between March 10th/2009 and March 14th/2009. The cabin is accessible by 4-wheel drive vehicles, ATV, or snowmobile. The cottage and all of its contents were completely destroyed resulting in thousands of dollars worth of damage.

Theft of Scooter – Berwick, NS

Crime stoppers is asking for your help in identifying the person responsible for the theft of a scooter from the Berwick Pharma Save on Tuesday the 17 of February 2009.

At around 7 pm the scooter went missing from the entry way to the store
There were two males involved, and one was caught on video.

Robbery – Herring Cove Road

At around 11:50 pm on December 3rd, 2008 Halifax Regional Police responded to a hold up alarm the Kwick-Way Store in the 400 block of the Herring Cove Road.

Upon arrival it was learned two men had just robbed the owner, one had a long gun, and they were last seen running towards Sylvia Ave.

Suspects Description:

(1). White male, 16-22 years of age, wearing a camouflage bluish jacket with dark jeans and dark sneakers.

(2). White male, 16-22 years of age, wearing red hooded sweater, Columbia Jacket, which had a blue upper half and a grey lower half, white under the arms with white stripes across the back and up the lower arms.

Theft of Motor Vehicles – Lower Sackville

RCMP in Lower Sackville, NS are investigating the recent theft of 3 trucks with Fisher snow
plows. In the evening on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 a red 1996 GMC Sierra, NSL: DRZ-417,
was stolen from the Sackville Sports Stadium.

On Thursday, January 8, 2009 at approximately 21:00 a silver 2005 Chevrolet Silverado, NSL: DZV-081, was also taken from the Sackville Sports Stadium.

On Wednesday, January 14, 2009, sometime after midnight, a grey 1999 GMC Sierra, NSL: EMD-999, was stolen from Windgate Drive, Sackville, NS.

The 2005 Chevrolet was recovered in Hammonds Plains, NS, it appears as though the target was the plow itself. There was damage to the passenger side door suggesting the use of a “Slim Jim” type of tool to enter the vehicle and the ignition on the one recovered vehicle was punched.
Fisher plows can range anywhere from $5000.00 to $15,000.00

The suspects could have been driving a dark colored pick-up truck with a plow on it.

At around 12:55 pm on Saturday January 3rd 2009 Halifax Regional responded to a call of theft at Touch of Gold located on Spring Garden Road.

A white male enter the store and while looking a Rolex watch, he fled the scene with the watch.
Watch is described as a “datejust”, silver dial, model 116233.

Identify Suspect, Stolen Credit Card – Kings County

On October 8th, 2008 the female suspect in this surveillance photo attended two locations in Berwick, Kings County, Nova Scotia and used a visa card which was reported stolen earlier the same day.

Break & Enter – Chebucto Road, Halifax

Sometime overnight of the 14th and 15th of December 2008 a business was broken into on Chebucto Road in Halifax.

Entry was gained by forcing a side door, once inside the culprit (s) ransacked the downstairs, the main door to the office on the second floor was forcefully broke into and ransacked.

Taken was a cash box, food along with some alcoholic beverages.

Break & Enter – Paradise Lafarge Plant

Crime stoppers are asking for the public’s help in solving two breaks which occurred in Paradise, Annapolis County, Nova Scotia.

The first occurred between November 19th and December 3rd, 2008. The second break occurred between December 20th and 31st, 2008.

Large quantities of diesel fuels were stolen as well as assorted tools.

Home Invasion, Atlantic Street – Halifax

During the early morning hours of the 7th of September 2008 a residence on Atlantic Street in Halifax was broken into while the occupants were sleeping.

The victims were sleeping in the upstairs when they were awakened by an unknown black male who pointed a gun at them, ordered them not to move or he would shoot their head off.

The suspect opened the dresser drawer in the bedroom as well as the bedside table. He took two laptop computers, a HP computer and a Toshiba computer, as well as a black nosier cell phone.

He then went back downstairs and left through the front door leaving the door open and using one of the victim’s bicycles as a means of transportation to leave the area.
