Assult – Dartmouth

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving an Assault Causing Bodily Harm which took place in Dartmouth Nova Scotia in the early morning hours of Saturday April 21, 2012.

The victim who is a taxi driver had picked up a fare on Barrington Street in Halifax just after midnight and took him to 100 Highfield Park Drive in Dartmouth. The suspect got out of the vehicle without paying at the same time another male approached and sucker punched the victim who was knocked to the ground. The two suspects took of running.

(1). Black male, 6’ tall, medium build, wearing dark clothing and a ball cap.

Theft – Spry Bay

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s assistance in solving the following theft.

On March 18th, 2012, between 1 am and 6 am, two ATV’s, a boat and trailer were stolen from a residence on Josey Road in the community of Spry Bay, NS. The boat and trailer have since been recovered.

Both ATV’s were 2007 Bombardier’s, one was a green Can Am with a loud muffler (VIN:2BVEPSF107V000593) and the other was a yellow Can Am outlander with a two up seat and a plow attached (VIN: 2BVEPSF107V000593).

RCMP in Sheet Harbour is looking for your assistance in locating the ATV’s and the person(s) responsible for this crime.

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving a case of theft which occurred in Truro Nova Scotia. This theft occurred between the 2012/03/18 after 5:00 pm and before 6:00 am on 2012/03/19 at the new Civic Centre site.

The following items were stolen:

•24 pieces of 12′ lumber (double tung/double groove) was taking

•24 pieces of 8′ lumber (double tung/double groove) was taking

•48 pieces of 16′ lumber (double tung/double groove) was taking

Break & Enter – Lantz

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving a case of Break Enter and Theft.

On Thursday, January 5, 2012 Enfield RCMP responded to a break and enters in the Lantz area. There were several items taken including seven distinguishable guitars. The total dollar amount of this B&E is close to $18,000.

Also stolen from the residence were electronics equipment, jewellery, scanners, sound mixing Boards, digital cameras, etc. It is believed the culprits took the stolen items through the rear of the home and walked them out to the 102 Highway.

Theft – Pictou County

Pictou County District RCMP is looking for a pair of removable ATV snow tracks. They are a front system, stolen from a private residence on Hwy # 289 (aka: Gairloch Rd.) in Middle River, Pictou Co., NS. The items went missing between December 29, 2011 at 18:00 and December 30, 2011 at 14:00. Brand: Kimplex Model: Commander Colour: Black the tracks are used to convert a standard ATV with wheels removed, into a winter snow ATV.

The picture attached is a sample of the item taken from the product website. The pair that was stolen is nearly identical to the photo, with the exception of a shock
absorbing suspension system welded to the stolen units, as the stolen units are for the front of an ATV.

Theft of Gas – Lower Sackville

Lower Sackville RCMP is requesting assistance in identifying the people/vehicle involved in a theft of gas, which occurred on November 27, 2011 at the Petro-Canada located at 51 Sackville Drive, Sackville, NS. The amount of the theft was $39.62.

A male passenger pumped gas while the driver waited inside the vehicle. When finished, the passenger hung up the pump and got into the vehicle. The vehicle left the area quickly, headed west on Sackville Drive.

Robbery – Sackville

Incident happened on 2011-09-01 at 21:30 but video was just recently received, but here are a few images of the suspect. The suspect w/m late teens or early 20’s left on foot after being confronted by the lone staff member with an iron rod. The suspect fled on foot towards Upper Sackville/trailer park in behind the store. The male made mention of a firearm when making demands.

Mount Uniacke – Break & Enter

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help solving a break enter and theft
which occurred in Mount Uniacke Nova Scotia.

On 2011-11-21, between 0100 and 0200 hrs, unknown culprit(s) gained entry into the Irving Store at 31 Highway #1 in Mt. Uniacke, NS.

Once inside, the culprits then smashed their way into an office where the safe and quantity of cigarettes were stored. There have been similar incidents & culprit(s) description at similar breaks in the area. Attached are photos obtained of two of the suspects responsible. Of note, both parties are wearing socks on
their hands, and the smaller suspect has a white shirt wrapped around his head.
