Theft Waverley NS

Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s help in solving a theft which occurred on Waverley Road, Waverley, Nova Scotia.

Sometime between June 17-18th, 2014, unknown suspect(s) stole a boat with outbord motor attached.  The suspects removed the motor and attempted to sink the boat.  The boat was recovered full of water a the end of the lake bu the motor was never recovered.

Break Enter and Theft

Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s help in solving a Break Enter and Theft which occurred on Nearshore Lane, Pleasant Valley, Nova Scotia.

Sometime between May 10-19th, 2014, unknown suspect(s) broke into 2 sheds and stole the following item’s.

1.  Jonsered chain saw   Model: 630         red in color.

2.  Stihl chainsaw           Model: MS631     orange in color

3.  Yamaha  outboard   Model: 3M5HX

4. Sterling BBQ             Model: 5123-84

5. 5hp/18 ton Surge Master Wood Splitter.

6. 2 X 20L gas containers.

7. 4 X Fishing Rods and Reels.

8. 1 Maul.

ARSON

On Sunday the 11 of May 2014 three males were seen walking North on Highway 2 at 02:45 hrs in Enfield. One of the males broke from the group and ran across the road to Deans Auto Parking lot and was within arms reach of the vehicle that was burnt. This male was out of view of the witness as he was on the far side of the vehicle before he ran back to his group and they continued to walk north on HWY 2. The witness heard a popping sound a few minutes later and looked out their window to see the vehicle on fire.

This incident is similar to a vehicle arson that happened at the same location a few months ago.

Hit & Run Wolfville NS

Kings District R.C.M.P. are continuing to investigate a hit and run that occurred in the Subway parking lot in Wolfville Kings County on November 2nd,2013 at around 11:20 p.m.  The hit and run sent a 23 year old female pedestrian to hospital with significant leg injuries.  The female was struck along with several parked vehicles the suspect fled the scene without offering any assistance to the injured female. On the 10th of January, 2014 someone broke into a residence on Cain Street, in North Preston, NS. The person or persons caused extensive damage to the interior and exterior of the property.

Break and Enter Theft – Kentville

On March 5th, 2014 a brand new 2014 Yamaha Grizzly 700 Camouflage 4 Wheeler was stolen from a residence in Kentville. The suspect(s) gained entry to the garage through the side window. They could not find the keys for the ATV and had to push it away from the garage. The owner just purchased the ATV on March 4th. On March 7th the ATV was recovered in a field off of the Forties Rd in New Ross, NS.

Theft of Furnace Oil

Crime stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving the following case which occurred in Stewiacke East Nova Scotia

On Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 2:24 p.m Stewiacke RCMP received a complaint involving the theft of furnace oil from a vacant residence on the R.J. Bates Road in Stewiacke East. On two separate occasions those responsible stole furnace oil between February 8 and 18, 2014. As a result of the theft, extensive damage was caused to the residence and surrounding property.

Kingston – Theft of off road vehicle

A dark green 2008 Argo 750EFI Avenger, with a black cab and tracks on the wheels, was stolen from the secure outdoor lot of a business in Kingston , NS.

Surveillance video from February 1st, 2014 shows that at approximately 0338 hrs, two males walk by the front entrance of the business. One is wearing a white winter jacket and dark coloured pants. The second male is wearing a black jacket with a red hoody underneath, with the hood pulled up over his head, and jeans.

Video shows the males in the secure lot at approximately 0345 hrs. One male proceeded directly to the Argo and was immediately able to start the machine, even though the keys were not left in the vehicle. The Argo was backed off the trailer and driven into, and through, the main locked gate. The Argo can be seen heading eastbound on the old railroad bed towards Middlet
