May 25, 2018, Lunenburg and Queens Counties, Nova Scotia . . . On May 8, Lunenburg District RCMP and Queens District RCMP responded to two separate break and enters at convenience stores in Barss Corner and Caledonia. The RCMP believe the breaks are related. In both cases, the glass in the entry door was broken while the store was closed. Several items were stolen from the stores, including cash and cigarettes.

Pickup truck stolen in Lunenburg County

April 4, 2018, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia . . . The RCMP is requesting public assistance to locate a stolen 2011 blue Toyota Tundra pickup truck. The truck was stolen from a locked garage on Oakhill Rd. in Dayspring around March 25. It did not have a licence plate on it when the owners last saw it.

The truck has a faded ‘Halifax Water’ decal on the door panels and has a white loading crane in the back. Anyone with information is asked to call Lunenburg District RCMP at 902-527-5555.
