Sometime between October 15th and October 25th 2016 a duplex on Mechanic Street in Springhill NS was broken into. Many items were taken: a white child’s captain bed, double bed and box spring, Black and Decker microwave, children’s toys, 5t-6t girls clothing, a Dora toy box filled with stuffed animals, washer, dryer, some copper piping and many other items.

On September 26th 2016 a resident of Barronsfield Road in River Hebert noted that their safe had been stolen from the house. The theft could have occurred in the 3 weeks prior to this date. The safe contained several documents and cash.

On Wednesday August 24, 2016 during an hour and 15 minutes while the owners were out their home on Little River Road near Oxford NS , it was broken into an many items of jewelry were taken. Many of these items are distinct in that they are related to the Knights of Pythias Lodge. A list wof the stolen pieces as well as pictures of the Lodge crests and some of the items taken are attached.

- Cameo bracelet, with single small cameo less than a centimeter high on yellow gold band
- Yellow gold tear drop shaped earrings
- Knights of Pythias Lodge necklace
- Ring with birthstone on it
- Ring with a single sapphire stone
- Ring with 4 birthstones (ruby, garnet, citrine, diamond)
- Knights of Pythias Lodge ring (red stone and the initials “FCB” inscribed on ring)
- Signet Ring (square black onyx with a white stone and “W” inscribed on the black onyx)
- A woman’s yellow gold wedding band
- A man’s yellow gold wedding band

Sometime between Friday November 4th and Monday November 7th 2016 a set of 48 inch forks used on a Volvo front loader, were stolen from the Village of Long Lake in an East Uniacke development area.

Sometime between September 22, 2016 and October 7, 2016, a shed was broken into on Fox Harbour South Road in Nova Scotia. Stolen was a 2014 Camo Green Suzuki LTA500VP ATV, license is HA876. Black alloy wheels with swamp tires Attached to the back is an 18 inch plastic pepsi case which was bolted into place. It also had grip warmers on the handlebars.

Crime Stoppers and Pictou County District RCMP are asking for the public’s help in solving a number of break enter and thefts which happened in Pictou County NS.
On Thursday October 27, 2016 Pictou County District RCMP responded to a report of a break enter and theft into 13 RV Trailers belonging to Stones RV that were parked in a storage lot on the Westville Road in Pictou County NS.
A total of 12 televisions were stolen, one of which has since been recovered.

On October 9th, 2016 police responded to a report of a break and enter at a residence in Hopewell. Entry had been gained by smashing a window and kicking in a door. While nothing appeared to be stolen, the person (s) responsible tried to ignite a number of paper items, possibly with the intent to cause a fire.
