Theft of ATV – Lake Echo

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s assistance in solving a case of theft which occurred in Lake Echo NS.

Sometime between November 12, 2009 and November 25, 2009 a 2008 Red RTV/ATV side by side Polaris was stolen from a property located on highway #7.
There were several upgrades such as a wench, mag wheels, running boards, push bar, driving lights and a vinyl enclosed cab.

Arson – West Branch Lake

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s assistance in solving a case of Arson which occurred in West Branch Lake in Trafalgar, Pictou County NS.

Sometime between December 7th and December 28, 2009 a cabin which was in use since 1977 was burnt to the ground, there are no suspect and police are asking for the public’s help in solving this crime.

Break and Enter – Spa Springs

Crime stoppers is asking for the public’s help in bringing to justice the person or persons responsible for a break enter and theft which took place on December 29, 2009 in Spa Springs, Annapolis County, NS.

Spa Springs Mineral Company was entered and the following items were stolen.
Snow Machine, spools of large cables, Poulan chainsaw, assortment of tools and cash.
The ski–doo was driven south on Dodge Road in Wilmot, Annapolis County, NS.

Theft – Halifax County

Crime stoppers are asking for the public’s help in solving a case of theft of copper wire from a business on Hwy 2 Waverly, Halifax County Nova Scotia.

The theft happened over a three week-end period in July and August 2009.

Two suspects were caught on surveillance camera, both were approximately 5’10” wearing light clothing and both their heads were completely covered.

Break and Enter – Yarmouth County

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving a case of break enter and theft which occurred in Yarmouth County Nova Scotia

On Wednesday, December 16th, 2009 between 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM, someone entered a residence on the Canaan Road in Canaan, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia. A black 50 inch Panasonic plasma television as well as a sum of cash was taken from the home.

Saint Mary’s University – Theft of laptops

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving two cases of theft which occurred at the Rice Building at Saint Mary’s University.

The first theft took place sometime between 3 pm October 23 and 4 am October 24, 2009 on the 4th floor.

Taken was a Toshiba Laptop, gray with black and white, Toshiba Compaq laptop, black outside with a shiny silver bottom on key board.

The second occurred on October 25, 2009 on the 12th floor.
Taken was an Accer laptop computer with small stars at back of screen.

Break and Enter – Digby

Digby RCMP are looking to find person(s) responsible for another break and enter on Queen Street. This occurrence was on Sept. 12 around 10:00 p.m. Culprits broke a window and entered the residence and stole a wallet and jewelry. Some neighbors had heard breaking glass, however thought it to be kids breaking beer bottles. This is the second break-in on Queen Street in the past two weeks. RCMP are asking the public to phone police if they see or hear suspicious activity.

Theft of Snowmobile – Hants County

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving a case of theft of a rare snowmobile and a double-wide trailer from, East Uniacke, Hants County, Nova Scotia.

The theft occurred on Friday September 18, 2009, sometime between the hours of 07:00 and 10:50.

The snowmobile is described as a 2009 Polaris Dragon SP 800 (photos are of same model snowmobile but are not the actual vehicle stolen). It is white in color and has an aftermarket SLP chrome exhaust pipeand a black, red and white cover. It’s valued at $12,000 and is one of only 150 made last year and only one of two known in Nova Scotia.

The missing trailer is an old double wide snowmobile trailer with no nose cone. It is black and has a plywood deck. It is not registered and has no lights.

Liquor Commission Break & Enter – Truro

Crime stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving the following Break & Enter that occurred on September 13, 2009, at the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation outlet at 6 Court Street, Truro, Nova Scotia.

The suspect is described as approximately 6’0″ tall with a medium build. He was wearing a yellow and white striped rugby style shirt with the number eight embroidered on the left upper side of the shirt, jeans, white sneakers and a plaid ball hat. The suspect also had a colored lanyard hanging around his neck.
