September 5, 2025, Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia… The RCMP/HRP Integrated General Investigation Section is investigating a theft from a construction site in Lower Sackville, and is appealing to the public for information.
On August 20, RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment responded to a report of copper theft from a construction site in the 0-100 block of First Lake Dr. Officers learned that someone had entered the fenced area, accessed the roof, and removed copper tubing from several heating, ventilation and air conditioning units. It’s believed that the theft occurred sometime during the previous week.
It’s estimated that the value of the damage and replacement costs amount to approximately $500,000.
The RCMP/HRP General Investigation Section is leading the ongoing investigation.
