Antigonish County District RCMP seeking information from public

July 8, 2025, Antigonish, Nova Scotia… Antigonish County District RCMP is seeking information from the public following two incidents in Antigonish over the weekend.

On July 6, at approximately 1:25 a.m., RCMP officers and fire services responded to a report of several Molotov cocktails being thrown at a home and vehicle on Martin St.

At the scene, officers seized several glass bottles containing fuel and engaged RCMP Forensic Identification Services to analyze the items.

Two people wearing black hoodies were seen leaving the area in a dark GMC vehicle.

Later, at approximately 4:15 a.m., Antigonish County District RCMP responded to a report of fireworks being shot at a residence on Xavier Dr.

Officers believe the two incidents are related and the investigations are ongoing.
