Waverley – Break & Enter

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving a case of break enter & theft which occurred in Waverley Nova Scotia.

On October 31, 2010 and November 12, 2010 someone broke into the Pizza Place in Waverley. Taken was a quantity of cigarette products. A witness saw the suspect running with a bag on his shoulder to a red Chevy Aveo sedan 4D. The suspect got in the passenger door. The car went to the Fall River on HWY 2.

Suspect is described as a white male, 30 years old, approx 6’, thin build.

Break Enter & Theft – Pictou County

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving the following case of Break Enter & Theft.

On December 10, 2010, the Pictou County District RCMP received a call of a break, enter and theft from a camp in MacLellans Mountain, Pictou County, NS. Suspects used a small grinder to remove the lock from the
gate to gain access to the property. Once inside, they proceeded to cut off five more locks on the outbuildings. They smashed the window out of the camp to gain access to it. Various items were stolen and it appeared the suspects were getting ready to hook up to a trailer there and load it full of items. The break-in occurred between midnight and 06:30. Suspects came with a truck. Several snowmobiles, two more ATVs and tools were left behind, so it is possible they may plan to return. If anyone has any information please contact the investigator.

Theft from Motor Vehicle – Lawrencetown

Sometime overnight on October 10, 2010, unidentified suspects broke into a vehicle in the Lawrencetown area of HRM and stole a Helly Hansen jacket containing a number of personal items, including a credit card. The card was subsequently used by two unidentified Caucasian males to make  numerous purchases at various businesses in the Cole Harbour / Dartmouth area.

Both suspects were careful to keep their heads down to avoid being captured on surveillance cameras. Cole Harbour RCMP are seeking assistance in identifying the male parties responsible.

Theft – New Minas

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects responsible for a theft at Future Shop in New Minas Nova Scotia

On Tuesday, December 7th, 2010 between 19:00 and 19:30, two males entered the store and removed the glass for a locked display case by jimmying the glass

Sometime between September 27th and November 11th 2010 a Mercruiser Bravo 2 Sterndrive (black, gasoline inboard/outboard, 350HP) was stolen from a customer’s boat parked at Terry’s Rentals in Yarmouth NS. The weight of the motor is approximately 200lbs and was fixed to the boat

Elmsdale – Theft

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving the following crime of Theft, which happened in Enfield NS

On July 6, 2010, at approximately 11:07, a slim, unshaven, Caucasian male wearing blue jeans, an unbuttoned collared shirt with an exposed green undershirt with white lettering and a ball hat entered the Elmsdale NSLC. The male was observed concealing jugs of rye, vodka and rum prior to exiting the store without paying for same. The suspect then left the area in a white vehicle with New Brunswick plates with another male for whom no description was available.

Kejimkujik National Park – Vandalism

PARKS CANADA ASKS FOR PUBLIC’S HELP

HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA – Parks Canada is asking the public to provide information on a campground vandalized inside Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site.

On November 14th or early morning November 15th 2010, at Kejimkujik NP and NHS, one or more persons vandalised the Jim Charles Group Campground picnic shelter and surrounding area and a porcupine was illegally hunted and killed.

Break & Enter – Middleton

On November 3, 2010, at approximately 02:15 hrs, two people broke into the Petro Canada in Middleton, NS, just off the 101 Highway at Exit 18. They were wearing hoodies, they had their faces covered and were wearing gloves. The suspects were driving a red car, possibly a Mercury Mystique or Ford Contour and parked the vehicle in front of the main doors.

Suspects pried the front doors open. The suspects carried duffel bags inside the store and went right to the cigarette drawers and placed the cigarettes in duffel bags. Nothing else appeared to be stolen.

Robbery – Glenholme

At 21:55 on September 29th, 2010, two males attempted to rob the Glenholme General Store at the intersection of Highway 2 and Highway 4 in Glenholme, Colchester Co., NS. One male brandishing a large kitchen knife confronted the 62 year-old owner while the second male kept watch at the door. Both males wore hoodies covering their faces.

The owner was able to fight off the first suspect, causing both suspects to take off on foot. It is believed the suspects were picked up by a vehicle, possibly a dark blue Chevrolet Impala, which continued eastbound onto Highway 104 from Exit 12.

The suspect with the knife is described as Caucasian with a darker (tanned) completion, short dark hair, approximately 5’5″ to 5’6″ in height, slight build (approximately 150 lbs), full lips, approximately 20 years of age, and unshaven. No description is available for the second male.
