Man wanted on Canada-wide arrest warrants

December 1, 2021, Millbrook, Nova Scotia…The Northeast Nova RCMP Major Crime Unit has obtained a warrant for the arrest of a man charged in a homicide from July 2021 in Millbrook.

Valdo Pauyo, 27, of Millbrook, is charged with 2nd Degree Murder.

Police have made several attempts to locate Valdo Pauyo, however are requesting assistance from the public.

Police believe that Pauyo has made attempts to change his appearance. Pauyo is also known to use the alias “C.J.”

Man wanted on province-wide arrest warrants

November 10, 2021, Bible Hill, Nova Scotia…Colchester County District RCMP and Pictou County District RCMP have obtained warrants for the arrest of a man charged with numerous offences relating to incidents that occurred on July 1, 2021 and October 17, 2021.

Marcus Michael Denny, 22, of Pictou Landing First Nation, is charged with:

  • Assault with a Weapon – Section 267(a) CC;
  • Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose – Section 88 CC;
  • Impaired Operation of a Conveyance – Section 320.14(1)(a) CC;
  • Impaired Operation over 80mg% – Section 320.14(1)(b) CC;
  • Resisting Arrest – Section 129(a) CC;
  • Obstructing a Peace Officer – Section 129(a) CC;
  • Failure to Comply with a Condition of a Release Order – Section 145(5)(a) CC;

Denny is also wanted on a province-wide arrest warrant related to a homicide that occurred in Truro in September 2021. This warrant was obtained by the Truro Police Service.

Police have made several attempts to locate Marcus Denny, however are requesting assistance from the public.

Wanted Person

On October 22, 2021 the Truro Police Service laid an information against Marcus Michael DENNY  DOB: 1999-06-28.  He is charged with Accessory after the Fact to Murder in relation the death of Prabhjot Singh on September 5, 2021.  A Non-Endorsed Warrant for his arrest has been issued.

Marcus DENNY is known to be violent and frequents Pictou Landing and Truro area; please use extreme caution when dealing with Marcus DENNY as he was recently believed to be in possession of a firearm.

·         Possession of Cannabis for the Purpose of Selling – Section 10(2) CA;

·         Possession of Illicit Cannabis – Section 8(1)(b) CA;

·         Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 – Section 354(1)(a) CC;

·         Failure to Appear in Court – Section 145(4)(b) CC

Armstrong is described as 5-foot-9, 190 pounds with dark brown hair and hazel eyes.

Police respond to suspicious circumstances

Halifax Regional Police responded to a suspicious circumstance call in Halifax yesterday.

At approximately 2:50 p.m. a man approached a 10-year-old youth who was walking in the area of Normandy Drive and Rosemeade Avenue in Halifax. The man asked the youth if they wanted a drive, and when the youth refused the man drove away. The youth immediately reported the incident to a trusted adult.

The suspect is described as white in his thirties, approximately 5’5” tall, 140 lbs. with black hair, a full beard and tattoos on his right arm. The only clothing description at this time is the man was wearing a black shirt. The man was driving a newer model black two door sedan.

Police are looking to speak with the man or anyone who may have information in relation to his identity or this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 902-490-5020. Man wanted on province-wide arrest warrant

September 1, 2021, Barrington Passage, Nova Scotia…Barrington RCMP has obtained a warrant for the arrest of a man charged with Robbery relating to an incident in Barrington Passage on August 26, 2021. 

Gordon Jack Hein, 37, of Barrington is charged with:

  • Robbery – Section 344(1)(b) CC

Hein is described as 6-foot-2, 250 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, and has a visible tattoo that says “Merisa Taylor” on the right side of his neck.

Officers have made several attempts to locate Hein and the public is asked to call police immediately if he is seen. Hein may be armed and anyone who sees him is asked to not approach him.
