New Glasgow Regional Police ask for the public’s assistance to solve theft of a Honda Generator

New Glasgow Regional Police is asking for public’s assistance to locate a stolen generator.

On August 1st NGR police received a report that a Red Honda Generator model # EU3000IS was stolen from a residence on Caroline Street Trenton. Police determined the theft took place on between the evening hours of 9:00p.m. on Sunday July 31 into early Monday morning August 1st  at 9:00 a.m.

The generator is described as  Red Honda Generator model # EU3000IS  serial number 812076.

The owner of the generator is United Rentals.

Arson, Eastern Passage

RCMP request public’s help to solve arson


December 21, 2020, Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia…
The Integrated RCMP/HRP General Investigation Section of the Criminal Investigative Division is investigating the arson of a fishing vessel in Fisherman’s Cove, Eastern Passage.

 

In the early morning of December 18, a Halifax District RCMP member located a boat on fire at Government Wharf Rd. No one was on the boat at the time of the incident. Halifax Fire and Emergency attended and put the fire out

 

Investigators have obtained surveillance video from the area and determined that the fire was intentionally set.

Do you have information about a drive-by shooting in Onslow?

July 15, 2019, Onslow, Nova Scotia . . . On July 13 at approximately 10:30 p.m.,  an unoccupied vehicle was damaged by shots fired from a passing vehicle. The incident occurred near a home on Elm St. in Onslow.

Members of Colchester District RCMP responded immediately and the initial investigation revealed the passing vehicle used by individuals involved is an older black Volkswagen Golf. The vehicle has a damaged windshield and the rear window is covered in plastic and is secured with red tape.

Colchester District RCMP is seeking assistance from the public to assist with this investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the detachment in Bible Hill at 902-893-6820. Theft of Polaris RZR 800 side-by-side in Greenwood

On June 21, 2019 at 10:54 hour Kings County RCMP received a report of the theft of a white and orange 2013 Polaris RZR 800 side by side (VIN 4XAVE76A7DB616148) from a residence on Marklee Drive, Greenwood, N.S.

The vehicle was parked at the residence as of June 20, 2019 at 20:00 hours and was found to be missing on June 21, 2019 at 07:30 hrs.

RCMP investigates stolen truck

July 2, 2019, Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia… Halifax District RCMP is investigating a stolen truck from a residence in Peggy’s Cove.

Between midnight and 4 a.m. on June 30, a white 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 truck was stolen from the driveway of a residence on Rocky Rd. The truck has 4 doors, a 6- foot box, a Line-X sticker in the back window and had the Nova Scotia licence plate # FM43214 attached to it. The truck was unlocked and the keys were left inside at the time of the theft.

La GRC enquête sur un vol de camion

 Le 2 juillet 2019, Peggy’s Cove (Nouvelle-Écosse) – La GRC du District d’Halifax enquête sur le vol d’un camion dans la cour d’une résidence à Peggy’s Cove.

Entre minuit et 4 h le 30 juin, une camionnette Dodge Ram 1500 2016 blanche a été volée dans la cour d’une résidence du chemin Rocky. Il s’agit d’une camionnette à quatre portes, avec boîte de 6 pi. Un autocollant Line-X figure sur la fenêtre arrière. Le numéro qui figurait sur la plaque d’immatriculation au moment du vol était FM43214. Les portes du camion n’étaient pas verrouillées et les clés se trouvaient à l’intérieur au moment du vol.

Police Investigate Robbery in Fairview

Police Investigate Robbery – Halifax

At 11:30 p.m., 25 June, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery that occurred earlier in the evening at 6:30 p.m., near Main Avenue / Dutch Village Road Halifax.  The victim was walking at when two unknown males grabbed the victim from behind and removed a chain and medication.  The victim sustained minor non-life-threatening injures and was treated at that hospital.  The suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspect description is limited to Unknown white males, one wearing a black long sleeve shirt.

The Government of the Province of Nova Scotia is offering rewards of up to one hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the disappearance of Rhonda Joyce Louise WILSON.

On August 10th, 2002 Rhonda’s husband reported to New Minas RCMP that she left their Kentville home on August 7th at approximately 9:30 p.m. to go for a walk and did not return. Wilson, a mother of three, was 31-years-old at the time of her disappearance.

During the course of the investigation there have been several possible sightings of WILSON; however, none were ever substantiated. To date, there has been no activity on her bank accounts.

The Government of the Province of Nova Scotia is offering rewards of up to one hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the disappearance of Shen Chiu “Andy” TSOU.

On June 30, 2005, police received a complaint from the wife of Shen Chiu TSOU, who reported that her husband, Shen Chiu TSOU, had not been seen since June 26, 2005. Mr. TSOU was a resident of Richmond, British Columbia, and had traveled to the Halifax area for business. He had been staying at the Halifax Casino Hotel and other private residences, prior to his disappearance. He was associated to numerous people in the metro Halifax area and elsewhere in Nova Scotia.

The investigation revealed that Mr. TSOU was registered at the Halifax Casino Hotel for the night of June 26, 2005, however, he never arrived at the hotel. He has not been seen since June 26, 2005. Mr. TSOU was operating a 2005 white Pontiac Grand Prix rental car, while in the Halifax area. This vehicle has never been located.

The Government of the Province of Nova Scotia is offering rewards of up to one hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the disappearance of Lynn Adel OLIVER.

On Saturday, August 25, 1979, at approximately 11:40 am, Lynn Adel Oliver (DOB 1956 09 10) left her place of work at Quality Cleaners, 141 Stellerton Road, New Glasgow, N.S., for lunch and did not return. She has not been seen or heard from since. Lynn had expressed concern for her physical safety and was described as nervous at work that day. She had previously given a friend and co-worker a note with instructions to call her mother immediately if she ever went missing. Additional information was within the note.

Lynn Adel Oliver is a caucasian female; height 5’5″; weight 105 lbs; green eyes and brown hair. She was 22 years old when she went missing and left behind a two year old son. There has been no activity in her bank account, MSI account or with her Social Insurance Number. Extensive inquiries across the country, throughout the years, have had negative results.

The Government of the Province of Nova Scotia is offering rewards of up to one hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the disappearance of Arlene McLEAN.

On September 8, 1999, at 8:30 p.m., Arlene MCLEAN left her residence at 1 Melrose Place, Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia, in the family car, a 1993 four door green Hyundai Elantra, bearing Nova Scotia plate CMG-691. When she left, she gave her common-law husband the impression that she would not be gone long, however, she has not been seen since and her vehicle has never been recovered. When MCLEAN left her residence, she took only her purse and the clothes she was wearing. Ms. MCLEAN left behind her eight year old son and her common-law husband.

Arlene MCLEAN is described as a Caucasian female, height: 157 cm. (5’2″), weight: 061 kg.(135 lbs), brown hair and eyes and fair complexion. No further information has surfaced with respect to the whereabouts of Arlene MCLEAN, and the circumstances of her disappearance are suspicious, and foul play may be involved.
