Police investigate incident of shots fired

January 27, 2021, North Preston, Nova Scotia…. On January 27, Halifax District RCMP received several reports of shots fired in the community of North Preston.

At approximately 0055 hrs., Halifax District RCMP responded to reports of shots fired in the community of North Preston.

RCMP are presently conducting an active operation in the North Preston area as it is an unfolding event. The public will notice an increased police presence in the area.

Police are asking the residents to remain in their residences until further notice. It is also requested that the public stay away from the area until further notice.
