Police Investigate Weapons Call – Shooting

At 11:30 p.m. 26 January, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a male shot at Connaught Avenue / Chisholm Avenue, Halifax.  Multiple officers responded to the scene and located an adult male with life threatening injuries.  The investigation is in the early stages and the General Investigation Section and Forensic Identification Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation.

Traffic Blocked:  All vehicle and pedestrian traffic on Connaught Avenue between Windsor Street and Regent Street and will remain closed for an extended period of time.
