Robbery

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving a robbery which took place in Halifax on Sunday January 18, 2015.

The victim was walking home, as they approached Rice residence on Tower Road, she saw 4 males standing on the side walk. The victim continued walking past them and then heard footsteps behind her. The victim began to walk faster when suddenly she was pushed from behind.  An Arabic male, then pushed her up against a brick wall and began yelling at her in Arabic. Then the male screamed “Wallet” at her and held her against the wall while the other males, grabbed her purse and took a quantity of cash. The male then tried to take her phone but they didn’t find it. The male then pushed the victim down and all four fled down Tower Road in the direction of Point pleasant park.

The victim was only able to provide a good description of the male that held her against the wall and took her purse form her.

The male was described as dark skinned of middle eastern descent, around 5’8″ or 5’9″, medium build
