Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving a break enter and theft which took place in Mount Uniacke Nova Scotia.
On Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 00:41, two males suspects broke into business located on James Boyle Drive, Mount Uniacke, Nova Scotia. A bolt cutter was used to gain access to the yard. From video surveillance, it appears that one male was wearing overalls with reflective tape around both legs and arms.
Stolen:
3 – 900′ rolls of copper wire
3 – 450′ rolls of copper wire
$2000-3000 in brass fittings
100′ of welding cable
truck with a 900′ roll of copper wire and tools
The keys were left in the truck. In addition to these item they also stole a cd play/ stereo from another unlocked truck from the work site.

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s assistance in solving several break enter and thefts which happened in Popes Harbour, Nova Scotia.
On June 5th, 2011 multiple items were stolen from several properties owned by the same person on Lofty Pine Road, Popes Harbour, NS. The suspect(s) took various items including two unregistered firearms:
Winchester 30-30 rifle, lever action, brown wooden stalk and some rust on
the barrel inside a brown soft case.
.22 cal. rifle, semi automatic, brown wooden stalk with rabbit and bushes burned into the stalk, a “hand” burned into the fore-stalk .

Between June 17th and June 22nd a 2004 Honda CRF150R Dirt Bike was stolen from a shed on Pool Road, Sheet Harbour, NS.
The suspect(s) took the dirt bike and did not touch any other items in the shed. The dirt bike is red/white with a dragon sticker on the front plate.

Solved
Crime Stoppers needs the public’s help in solving a theft in Pictou County Nova Scotia.
Pictou County District RCMP are investigating a theft of a swimming raft that went missing from the shore of a Black Point summer residence. The raft was 10 x 10 and grey in color and made by the company Candock. The raft was pushed from the shore into the water and likely moved by a boat.

On May 9th, 2011, a unknown male stole a Robot Roomba vacuum ($450 value) from the Antigonish Canadian Tire by concealing it in a black bag he brought into the store with him.

Crime Stoppers are requesting the public’s assistance in regards to several ATV thefts that have taken place in the Lawrencetown, Annapolis County area of Nova Scotia.
On March 31, 2011, a red 2004 Honda Fourtrax 4×4 was stolen from a residence in Lawrencetown, NS. Witnesses observed the ATV being driven west on the 201 Highway by two people wearing helmets at approximately 13:30. This particular ATV had a winch attached to the front along with two brackets to support a plow and was accompanied by a red and black passenger seat.
On April 2, 2011, a grey 1994 Honda ATV was reported stolen from a seasonal residence in Paradise, NS. The theft is believed to have occurred some time during the previous night. On April 9, 2011, a yellow 2004 Honda ATV was reported stolen from a trailer located on the front lawn of a residence in Lawrencetown, NS. This particular ATV had a black push bar on the front along with a winch and had black saddlebags on the rear.
On May 24, 2011, a yellow 2004 Honda Foreman was reported stolen from a residence in Brickton, NS. A witness reported that at approximately 11:30, a large four-door blue car was observed backed into the driveway of the residence where the ATV was stolen. A male and female were observed around the vehicle
and a description was given of both. The male was approximately 5’7, slender build, wearing a dark plaid jacket and a baseball cap, early 20s and the description of the female was black hair worn in a ponytail and fair skin.
It is noted that all ATVs stolen have been Honda makes and three of the four have been 2004 models.

Crime Stoppers needs the public’s help in solving a case of theft which happen in Halifax Nova Scotia
Sometime between April 19, 2011 and April 25, 2011 a hydraulic hammer (also known as a rock crusher) was stolen from a construction site located on Larry Uteck Blvd. at Hwy 102 in Halifax, NS.
The equipment is described as being made by NPK and it is a model GH10. Serial number is 98733. It is valued at $65,000 and weighs 4,200 pounds.

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s assistance in solving the following theft.
Between April 23, 2011 at 10:00pm and April 24, 2011 at 08:30am an ATV was stolen from a residence on Cooks Road in the community of Sheet Harbour, Nova Scotia.
The ATV is described as being a 2005 Honda TRX500, s/n 1HFTE312154001020, which was yellow in color. Distinguishing feature is that the muffler was being held up by a ratchet strap.

Police Requesting Publics Assistance
Halifax Regional Police is requesting the publics assistance in connection with a theft of art work that occurred last week in Dartmouth.
On Wednesday, March 23, police were called to Evergreen House on Newcastle Street in regards to a theft of two paintings. Today, investigators are releasing pictures of the paintings in hopes that they will be located or returned safely.
The first painting is an unsigned work that depicts ships between the islands on the western side of Mahone Bay, NS. The date of this work is unknown but it is thought to have been painted in the late 1800s and is approximately 9 long and 5.5 wide.
The second is by J.E. Elliott and depicts ships in Halifax Harbour, perhaps from a Point Pleasant Park vantage point, with a woman in a white dress on the shore. It was painted in 1887 and is approximately 18 long and 11.5 wide.
